Students apply software architecture, testing, and distributed application development practices to create integrated, deployable software systems. Applications combine user interfaces, services, databases, and external APIs while addressing authentication, asynchronous communication, state management, failure handling, and security. Students evolve existing codebases and use contemporary frameworks and development tools to produce maintainable software that satisfies documented requirements.
