Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has introduced new PGWP eligibility requirements for students applying for a study permit. To qualify, students must graduate from a program in a priority field.
Students who applied for a study permit before November 1, 2024, are not affected by these changes and remain eligible to apply for a PGWP regardless of their field of study.
